One of the biggest decisions you have to make as a new food blogger is what niche to pick. A “niche” is your particular focus, your overriding theme, your area of expertise. It will dictate what kinds of recipes you develop and feature, which restaurants or products you review and what style you use to brand your blog and your graphics. Therefore, the thought of having to do it upfront, before you’ve even had time to explore the food-blogging world, is a harsh reality that brings many out in a cold sweat.
